The carousel of EU subsidies is still spinning. In April, entrepreneurs can apply for EU funding, among others: for innovative projects, entering new countries with business and design. What needs to be done to receive EU millions and who will receive the support?

April is another month with an interesting offer of funding for entrepreneurs. Companies that want to develop with the help of EU grants can many competitions to choose from. Business owners who cannot decide which form of funding is best to apply for can use our help. We made a list the most interesting, most worth attention calls for proposals with EU subsidies. SMART path: further opportunities for innovative companies
The most money for entrepreneurs is in… SMART path. This is a subsidy instrument with money for companies planning comprehensive projects including: research and development (R&D), implementation of innovations, infrastructure development and foreign expansion. Entrepreneurs can also use the subsidies received for training for employees and company management, digitalization and ecological projects.
We are currently recruiting from the SMART Path for large companies. They can apply for grants until May 22, and he is waiting for them together PLN 350 million. Another competition will start in April, this time for scientific and industrial consortiums. In addition to entrepreneurs, research and non-governmental organizations can also join such partnerships, but the leader of the consortium should be the enterprise. The application process will start on April 9 and will continue until June 12. It is also in the pool of this competition PLN 350 million. Both recruitment processes are organized by the National Center for Research and Development.
Design in SMEs: grants for entrepreneurial women
Design in SMEs is the name of one of the most original grant competitions. It financially supports companies run and co-managed by women that focus on design processes in order to better adapt the products and services they offer to the needs, requirements and expectations of customers. Only micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the Eastern Poland macroregion can take part in the recruitment. The money for them comes from the European Funds for Eastern Poland program, and competitive applications should be submitted to the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
Recruitment began on February 19 and will continue until May 20. This program offers two key components that help introduce innovations to the market: advisory (including, among others, conducting a design audit and developing an individual design strategy) and implementation (including the implementation of the design strategy). A total of PLN 50 million awaits entrepreneurs. You can get maximum for one project PLN 3 million, and the minimum value of eligible costs of the project is 200 thousand zloty.
Polish Technological Bridges: to conquer new markets
At the beginning of March, the subsidy program awaited by entrepreneurs was launched Polish Technological Bridges. You can earn money to promote your innovative products, services or technologies on new foreign markets. The recruitment is intended for micro, small or medium-sized companies that have been operating on the market for at least two years. The competition is conducted by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, and it is up for grabs PLN 15 million. Applications can be submitted until April 13.
In this call for proposals, entrepreneurs can apply for funding for activities related to the promotion of their products, services or technologies in four countries: the United States, Canada, Brazil and the United Kingdom. Each company has a chance to receive a maximum grant 180 thousand zloty. We would like to remind you that there are Polish Technology Bridges recruitment cycle. There will be three events this year, and more will be added in the next two years. It will be distributed to companies in total over PLN 175 million.
Eurogrants: cooperation with foreign countries
Entrepreneurs who plan international cooperation and ventures on the European market can obtain subsidies that will facilitate the implementation of these plans. They will be helped by grants from the competition Eurogrants grants. In the recruitment process carried out nationally, entrepreneurs can apply for financial support, which will then help them obtain funds in competitions organized directly by the European Commission.
Thanks to Eurogrants, business owners will be able to finance the necessary preparations, analyzes and expertise that will increase their chances of obtaining European funds for international cooperation. Competitive recruitment is carried out in stages. In the competition that is ending, applications can be submitted until April 2, but the next recruitment starts on April 3 and will continue until June 18. The last edition will be closed September 3. It's up for grabs in each of them PLN 20 million. All recruitment processes are organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
Gospostrateg: grants for synthetic fuels
Until April 10 consortia can apply for grants from the program Gospostrategist. This is money to develop a production program low-emission and renewable synthetic fuels from domestic energy sources. The grants will go to partnerships, which may consist of entrepreneurs, research organizations, foundations and associations. Such a consortium may include up to five entities, including at least two research organizations.
The competition will be conducted by the National Center for Research and Development, and a total of 10 prizes will be awarded PLN 20 million. Consortiums will be able to spend the allocated money on basic research, industrial research, experimental development work and pre-implementation work obligatory in the project. You can even get funding 100 percent eligible costs of the planned project.
