Raisa Radu, a 16-year-old young woman, offered one of the most emotional moments of the Voice of Romania season on Friday evening, in the Knockouts stage, with the interpretation of “I-auzi, pruduo, pîtigoiu”.
The moment sparked rare reactions from the jurors. Theo Rose muttered during the performance: “Oh my god… off,” while Irina Rimes, who has Raisa on the team, was visibly moved and teared up during the performance.
Even Tudor Chirilă, known for his sharp comments, said briefly: “Impeccable. He broke me!”
“Raisa, you really put us in that atmosphere. I don't listen to doines at home, but when I hear one sung like that, I'm happy,” said Smiley.
Teo Rose added: “This song leaves you speechless. This kid has been singing for a long time.”
Coach Irina Rimes chose Raisa for the next stage.
