Orban delighted with the result of Nawrocki. “Great win”


Congratulations to Karol Nawrocki winning in the Polish presidential election – added the head of the Hungarian government. On platform X he noticed that the elections in Poland “kept suspenseful until the last moment.”
“We are looking forward to cooperation and strengthening of the Visegrad Group” – noted Orban. “Good luck, Mr. President!” – he added in Polish.
Before voting, the Hungarian prime minister supported Nawrocki, speaking during the CPAC conservative conference in Budapest: “Long live Nawrocki!”
Orban's government is in a sharp conflict with Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his environment. In December 2024, Budapest granted asylum to Marcin Romanowski, PiS politician and former deputy minister of justice, on whom they are charged with the functioning of the Justice Fund.
According to the official data of the State Electoral Commission, Karol Nawrocki won the presidential election in Poland, obtaining 50.89 percent. votes; 49.11 percent voted for Rafał Trzaskowski voters.
