Common drone shield of Ukraine and the EU? Zełenski made a proposal

Ukraine would like to build a joint air defense shield together with its European partners in order to protect against threats from Russia – declared on Monday the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelnski during an online speech as part of the Warsaw Security Forum.

– Ukraine offers Poland and all our partners to build a common, fully reliable shield against Russian air threats – said Zelanski.

– It is possible. Ukraine can combat all types of Russian drones and rockets, and if we act in the region together, we will have enough weapons and appropriate production capacity – argued Zelanski.

Asked about the policy of US President Donald Trump, Zelanski noticed that Washington's approach to Ukraine and Europe's security changed. – Today, the position of President Trump is, in my opinion, really balanced. (Trump) supports the position of Ukraine, although he undoubtedly wants to remain a mediator between us and Russia to end this war – emphasized the Ukrainian leader.

Warsaw Security Forum (Warsaw Security Forum) is organized by the Foundation Kazimierz Pułaski, with the participation of Polish premiere of Donald Tusk. This is an annual international event taking place in Warsaw, which gathers politicians, security experts, military, diplomats and representatives of international organizations.
