A 23 -year -old woman, pregnant in 24 weeks, was shot by her ex -boyfriend, on Saturday night, in the street, in the Cosmopolis residential complex in Ilfov County.

The young woman, named Teodora, was taken to critical condition to the hospital, where she could not be saved.

She was competing in season 6 of the show “Love Island” a few years ago. Teodora participated in the show in 2022, when she was 19, with her husband, 11 years older, to test his marriage.

The two were civilly married for a year and remained together after the end of the show, being still married to her death. The young woman was hand with their daughter when she was approached and shot by a former concubine.

The “island of love” is a reality show broadcast by Antena 1, in which several couples test their fidelity on an exotic island, away from their ordinary environment.

Season 6 was filmed in Thailand on Coconut Island, an exotic island near Phuket. Filming took place in two exclusive resorts Escape Island and Coconut Village.

Couples spend 21 days in separate resorts, in the company of “temptations” – unknown men and women who live in the same resort and try to test their fidelity. During this time, the competitors go to romantic meetings, do various exotic activities specific to Thailand, or participate in parties in the spring, being filmed permanently.

The competitors do not have the opportunity to communicate with their partners, but they have the opportunity to look at moments from their time on the island in some “bonfire” ceremonies meant to give them perspectives on the behavior of the other.

At the end of the show, there is a special ceremony where couples make the decision to leave the island together or separately, or sometimes with a temptation. This final ceremony represents the climax of the season and usually attracts important audiences.

The final of the last season of “Love Island”, from August 28, 2024, recorded record audiences, becoming the most watched edition of the season.

At the national level, the show was watched on average of 1.065 million viewers per minute, exceeding for the first time the threshold of one million viewers, according to spotmedia.ro. In the urban commercial segment (the public between the ages of 21 and 54), Antena 1 obtained a market share of 31.1%, which means that one in three viewers in this segment watched the show.
