Craiova University beat Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc 5-0 on Monday evening at the “Ion Oblemenco” Stadium, and ends the year in first place in the SuperLiga.
The hosts' goals were scored by Matei (19`, 33`), Mora (40`) and Al Hamlawi (70`, 86`).
The guests finished the game in numerical inferiority, after the elimination of Palmeș, who received the second yellow in the 90th minute.
With this victory, Craiova has 40 points after 21 rounds and is in first place. The team from Banie is followed by Rapid (39 p), Botoșani (38 p) and Dinamo (38 p).
FC Argeș (34 p) and Oțelul Galați (33 p) will finish the year in the play-off zone, but a fierce battle is announced at the end of the regular season. The reigning champion, FCSB, is only 9th, but has 31 points and still has a good chance of finishing in the top six.
Defeated in Craiova, Csikszereda remained at 16 points and is penultimate in the SuperLiga, above Hermannstadt (13 points) and Metaloglobus (11 points).
