Experts of the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor denied the widespread myth that the hookah is a hygienically safe device. They also told how to get infected when smoking.
According to experts, a wet and warm environment inside the flasks, hoses and tubes of hookah creates a favorable environment for pathogens of infectious diseases. Among them are tuberculosis, candidiasis, herpes and staphyll.
Large companies smoking a hookah are even more dangerous, since the number of microbes in it multiplies many times. Especially if one mouthpiece is used at all. The nozzle allows infections to easily spread from person to person.
Experts called for completely abandoning the smoking of the hookah, as it is harmful to health.
