The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia awarded the Minusinsk schoolboy for saving grandmother from scammers

Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev awarded young Russians who distinguished themselves during the detention of criminals and suppress offenses. Among them was 14-year-old Dmitry Grebennikov from Minusinsk.

Recall that in the winter of 2025 the boy was with his mother in the store when he saw alarmed grandmother. She spoke with someone on the speakerphone. During the dialogue, the phrase sounded: “Go to a secluded place so that no one would hear you.” Dmitry suspected that it could be scammers. He told his mother about this.

Together, they tried to talk to a pensioner, but she refused. In parallel, the woman found out through which ATM I needed to send money. Dmitry and his mother approached her grandmother and began to explain what she was talking with a swindler. The woman hung up. The teenager called the police.

As it turned out, from the very beginning of the conversation, the fraudster forbade her to communicate with someone and seek help. So, an indifferent teenager and his mother helped her grandmother save more than 170 thousand rubles.

“I am pleased that my child’s act was appreciated at this level. Pride takes that he has grown so indifferent, ”says Dmitry Pope.

The boy received a well -deserved reward from the Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from the hands of the acting head of the headquarters Yuri Zavyalov.
