The dentist was transplanting her hair. Two patients from India died after the procedures

According to The Independent, Vinit Kumar Dubey and Mayank Katiyar are victims of illegal operations. Both men died shortly after Tiwari treatments. The first tragedy took place in November last year. Katiyar, who underwent surgery at the clinic in Kanpur, died a day later. In March this year, Dubey met a similar fate, who left two days after the procedure.
The families of both men reported the case to the police, indicating possible medical neglect. Dubey's wife, who was the first to raise the alarm, accused the authorities of tardiness, claiming that her notification was registered only after two months.
Dangerous practices and lack of qualifications
Anushka Tiwari, although she has a dentist diploma, advertised on the internet as a hair transplant specialist. In the course of investigation, it was revealed that she carried out operations without appropriate permissions, which was a serious violation of medical standards.
Preliminary results of the investigation showed that in the case of Dubey, the procedure was performed despite his serious health problems, such as diabetes and hypertension. The cause of death was to be brain swelling and an infection caused by the use of non -sterilized equipment.
“There are serious allegations against Tiwari,” said Dilip Singh, a lawyer representing the families of the victims. – We have evidence that she carried out operations that went beyond her competence – he added.
Clinic under the magnifying glass
The police in Kanpur, in addition to the hearing of Tiwari, are now examining the activities of the entire clinic in which the procedures were carried out. Investigators check the qualifications of staff and compliance with medical standards. Preliminary arrangements indicate that the facility operated without the required license.
Tiwari was detained for 14 days, and the prosecutor's office announced her accusations of the murder of two people.
