The “man of peace”, Donald Trump, is preparing to strike Greenland and Iran militarily

Let's see what he chose after he “struck” Venezuela, a blow resulting in the removal of Maduro, the dictator of Venezuela. Trump promised that he will lead Venezuela, extract 30-50 million barrels of oil for America, and the money obtained from the sale of oil will be controlled by him.

What was chosen? In the discussion with the heads of American oil companies, they sent him a message of severe caution, fueled by doubts about the administration's ability to ensure long-term stability in Venezuela and create a predictable framework for business.

To militarily occupy a country with a very large area, such as Venezuela, means for America huge costs in money and human losses among the military, costs that even Trump cannot afford.

The latest news related to Venezuela is that Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State has issued a warning for US citizens to leave Venezuela immediately. “There are reports of armed militia groups, known as colectivos, setting up roadblocks and searching vehicles for evidence of American citizenship or support for the United States“.

This is what Trump chose, after the much trumpeted operation to capture Maduro.

The attack against Iran

If the strikes in the summer of 2025 had some justification to stop the construction of nuclear weapons in Iran, now the motivation of a possible American attack in Iran would be based only on a “humanitarian intervention”, that is, the use of force to stop a genocide, or crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing. Such an intervention is not clearly legal, has no explicit basis in the UN Charter, and requires an Authorization of the UN Security Council.

It is clear now that Trump is not interested in international law. (“My own morality. My mind is the only thing that can stop me. I don't need international laws. I'm not trying to harm people.”)

If Trump intervenes in Iran, he can do it with airstrikes against government and presidential buildings, at what human and material cost is unknown. And if the current leaders of Iran are already hiding in protective bunkers, he cannot eliminate them, and the Iranians only choose destruction and loss of human lives. Has Trump considered these aspects of the intervention in Iran?

Of course, we all want the current Iranian regime to be replaced by a democratic one, based on internationally recognized human and legal values. But the way to reach this result must be weighed very carefully and the most correct thing is for the Iranian people to have the right to decide and change.

In a telephone conversation on Saturday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed the possibility of US intervention in Iran, according to an Israeli source who witnessed the discussion.

American military intervention in Greenland

It is by far the most illegal of the past or planned American interventions. Trump is already convinced that America must annex Greenland: “We absolutely need Greenland. We need it for defense.”
We're going to do something in Greenland, whether they like it or not, because if we don't, Russia or China will take over Greenland – and we don't want Russia or China as neighbors. I would like to reach an agreement peacefully. I'd like to make a deal the easy way, but if we don't do it the easy way, we'll do it the hard way.”

Now it appears that Stephen Miller, Trump's top adviser, is tasked with generating a two-month plan for a military occupation of Greenland.

From where to where would Russia or China take control of Greenland, which together with Denmark is a territory defended by NATO? They haven't tried until now, why would they try now, when Russia is occupied in Ukraine and China is preoccupied with Taiwan? They are the aberrations of Trump's colonial thinking, who wants to annex new territories to America, to leave them a legacy to be remembered in American history.

Europe opposes this illegal intervention, and the price would be the withdrawal of America from NATO and the Europeans' obligation to build their security with a NATO without America.

Russia would feel entitled to occupy all of Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, the Baltic States, including using nuclear weapons, China and Taiwan, if Trump sets an example with Greenland.

The bright side is that American generals oppose this plan as illegal, the US Senate has already voted against America launching military attacks in other countries without congressional approval, and Trump's Republicans are scared that all these military interventions will cause them to lose the November 2026 congressional midterm elections.

There is a good chance that Trump will be blocked by justice and American society, especially after blunders such as the defense of the officer who killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis and the failure of the operation in Venezuela.

Trump has the thinking and philosophical training of a real estate samsar, you have nothing to expect from him, power has taken his mind. But now he is the leader of the greatest economic and military power, it is up to the American people to stop him before he does stupid and crazy things with irreparable consequences, like a nuclear war.
