Simultaneously with today's ceremony, on the official youtube channel of “Madring” was published a video showing how a track will look. At first glance, it seems that the route in the Spanish capital does not offer too many opportunities to overcomebecause the straight lines are not very long and the turns are relatively narrow.

Although the final design is still subject to the approval process, The circuit is designed to have a length of 5.47 km and include 22 turns. There are also plans that turn 10 to be inclined, which would do from turns 11 and 12 key points for overcoming.

Organizers estimate an average speed of 218 km/h And a qualification time of 1 minute and 32 seconds, which would make this circuit one of the longest in the calendar.

The first edition of the Grand Prize of Spain on “Madring” should take place in September 2026. Most likely, next year Spain will host two races, because the contract with the Catalunya circuit is also valid for season 2026, But the competition near Barcelona will have to adopt a new name.
