Karol Nawrocki must become president – the Minister of National Security Minister Kristi Noem appealed on Tuesday at the CPAC conference in Jasionka near Rzeszów. In turn, she called the second presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski a hopeless leader and stated that she would rule through fear.

“It matters who is in power. Over the years I saw how (ruled) socialists and liberals, who, like the President of the Capital City of Warsaw, are hopeless leaders and destroyed our countries, (…) because they ruled with fear,” NEEM said in the Jason in Podrzeszów.

In her speech, she warned that if Trzaskowski won, Poles would have to face what Americans had to face during Joe Biden's term. The governments of the former US president referred to hell and stated that he allowed the invasion of criminals through the southern border of the country. “Today we have 93 % fewer cases of crossing the border,” NEEM boasted, describing the change that she thinks came along with Trump's rule.

“Donald Trump is a strong leader for us, but you have the opportunity to have an equally strong leader if you make Karol a leader of this country,” she said. She added that Nawrocki would take care of everyone's equality. The US National Security Minister announced that if Poland has the right leader who will cooperate with the US, it will continue to be the beneficiary of the American military presence and maintain access to American equipment.

CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) is an annual conference in which conservative politicians and activists from around the world are involved since the 1970s. In recent years, CPAC has also been organized in other countries, including in Hungary or – as this year – in Poland.

Along with the growing popularity of the United States President Donald Trump in conservative-national environments, the conference was dominated by his supporters.

TV Republika was the co -organizer of the Tuesday event.

Kosiniak-Kamysz: Regardless of the statement, the Polish-American friendship is strong

Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz commented on the criticism of the American minister at Rafał Trzaskowski and the support of Karol Nawrocki. My visit to the Pentagon is the best testimony of a strong Polish -American friendship, regardless of the secretary of Mrs. Noem – he said.

“Regardless of this opinion, the secretary, Polish-American relations not only in the field of security, not only in the field of national defense, but also in the field of protecting the border about which today they talked to Minister Siemoniak, are very good,” said Kosiniak-Kamysz during a briefing at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington.

Asked whether he considers Kristi Noem statements to interfere in Polish elections, the Deputy Prime Minister did not answer directly, instead, paying attention to his own Tuesday meeting with the head of the Pentagon Peta HegeSthem.

“Today's visit to the Pentagon and such a strong Polish-American friendship, she is probably the best testimony and the best answer to doubts, which sometimes our political opponents in Poland raised about Polish-American relations,” he said.

“There has never been such an intense relationship with the Pentagon as we have now, at such a high level as today's meeting and also very well the secretary for internal order met today with Minister Siemoniak, because it shows that, for example, what we do on the Polish -Belarusian border also arouses the interest of the American side,” he added.

As he noted, he has his own opinion about Rafale Trzaskowski: that he is “a guarantee of safe Poland under the white and red, under which we will all fit.” (PAP)
