According to the prosecutor, the Russian special service could entrust the defendants in the case to follow the former military personnel from Ukraine who fought against the army of the Russian Federation. The accused were probably about to kill the military.
It is noted that the Armenian could receive such a task in early May last year. To do this, he probably recruited two other men – Ukrainian and Russian.
In June, the ex-military had to lure in a cafe in the center of Frankfurt, but he contacted the German police and did not come to the meeting. But the suspects were detained, they are in custody.
The prosecutor’s office also suggests that the spy operation could be prepared for further intelligence actions in Germany.
