Americans speak on elections in Poland
At the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) conference, Kristi Noem, Secretary of National Security, hosted the USA. There she called Rafał Trzaskowski a “socialist” who “will rule through fear.” Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz responded to these words. “My visit to the Pentagon is the best testimony of a strong Polish-American friendship, regardless of the secretary's secretary's opinion,” he said during a briefing at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington. Earlier, the defense minister met with the head of Pentagon Pet HegeSthem.
In the last hours, there has also been information that some members of the Chamber of Representatives claim that the Polish government favors Ko Rafał Trzaskowski's candidate and accuses the European Commission of lack of reaction. They sent a letter to the chairwoman of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. The author of the letter – Brian Mast – is part of the wider interest in republicans supporting right -wing populists in Europe.
US reaction to the words of the former President of Russia
The Vice -President of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev warned in social media against the risk of World War III. A special US envoy has already reacted to these words to Ukraine General Keith Kellogg. “Falling fear of World War III is an unfortunate, reckless commentary of Medvedev, unworthy of world power,” he wrote on social media.
Türkiye will go a step further?
Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the appointment of an expert team who will start work on the new constitution. “Critics see in their efforts a change in the Constitution attempt to secure reelection by the president. Legal changes could allow him to bypass the current constitutional limitations of the term of office,” the Associated Press agency emphasized in her text.

The candidate Karol Nawrocki, supported by PiS, will take part in the debate on the market in Końskie organized by TV Republika, which is scheduled for 20. Although Rafał Trzaskowski did not officially refuse to participate in the debate, at 19.30 its rally will take place in Kalisz – over 200 km away from Końskie.
A sentence will also be announced in the trial of former doctor Joel Le Scouarnec, accused of sexual assault on almost 300 people, mainly juvenile. The victims were Le Scouarneca patients. The prosecutor demanded the maximum possible sentence – 20 years in prison.
