Local authorities initiated an investigation after an incident involving a paraglider. As indicated by the Global Times, the man was in constant contact with people on earth.
“I was just communicating on the radio all the time,” said Global Times.
As the Chinese portal indicates, there have been cases of suction of clouds at an altitude of 6,000. up to 7,000 km, however, few people can survive such extreme heights. The paraglider himself named Ou emphasized that it was “a really miracle” that he survived.
The Jiupai News agency, citing a source familiar with the case, informs that the paraglider had a valid license, but did not submit the required plan for Saturday's flight. So he did not have permission to fly in a selected airspace. Therefore, the relevant authorities will examine whether it violated the rules.
