The ex-director of the Krasnoyarsk School of the Olympic Reserve was convicted of unlawful disposal of money

In Krasnoyarsk, the court sentenced the ex-director of the Krasnoyarsk Sports School of the Olympic Reserve to conditional deprivation of liberty for unlawful transfer of funds on behalf of the head.

The prosecutor’s office reminded that from September to December 2021, the former head of the Main Directorate for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Krasnoyarsk Administration Valery Chernousov instructed the woman to conclude a contract for cleaning the school premises with his acquaintance. The official knew for sure that no one would execute the contract.

The director agreed to fulfill the order of the chief and for 4 months paid for fake payment orders 60 thousand rubles.

“I ordered the school principal to fictitize the cleaner of the premises, I apologize to her. If she had not fulfilled my instruction, I would punish her, ”Chernousov explained in court.

Recall that Chernousov was sentenced to 7 years 8 months in prison for receiving a large bribe and fraud for 1.3 million rubles.

During the consideration of the criminal case, the school principal quit his position, for the amount of damage acquired basketball balls for the school.

“I repent in the deed, I will never occupy leading positions again,” the defendant said.

The court found the ex-director guilty of the unlawful turnover of payments (part 1 of article 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced to 2 years of conditional imprisonment with a trial period of 2 years, with a fine of 100 thousand rubles. Now it will be celebrated in a specialized body and will not be able to change the place of residence without notifying it.
