The Italian press revealed a funny moment during the interview given by Cristi Chivu to the DAZN station, at the end of the match Inter – Roma 5-2.

The moderator of the DAZN show, Diletta Leotta, noted that the Inter coach was having a discussion with the reporter at the stadium, Federica Zille, and she really wanted to know what exactly the two were discussing before going live.

Chivu replied: “What were we talking about? Two things: I asked if the barbershops were open tomorrowand she asked me why I wanted to take my jacket off and throw it away. Everyone has their worries”.

Diletta Leotta, to Cristi Chivu: “Some hair salons are open, we will send you the numbers”

Then, the Romanian technician elaborated. “Why did I ask? I need a haircut, I'm not presentable. I put my helmet back on, like in the old days,” said Chivu, referring to the helmet he wore for many years as an Inter player after a serious temple injury followed by surgery.

Diletta Leotta entered the game and responded promptly. “There are some hair salons open, we'll send you the phone numbers,” said the presenter, who then insisted: “Next Sunday is Como-Inter, we want to see you get your hair cutTo which Chivu replied: “I'm waiting for the number, thanks. I'll get a nice haircut”.

Cristi Chivu: “This team shows signs of maturity”

Afterwards, the Romanian coach praised his players, especially for the second-half performance: “After the break we had more courage, controlled possession better, picked up the pace and were more aggressive in the fight for the ball. From this point of view, we played an excellent second half.

This team is showing signs of maturity. In the last few games he speculated a little bit more and we shouldn't have done that but today we showed up with the desire to dominate and close the game“.

Following Sunday's victory, 5-2 against Roma, combined with the result of the Napoli-Milan duel (1-0), Cristi Chivu's Inter are at the top of the standings, 7 points away from the reigning champion and 9 away from their big local rival.
