As a reminder: The widow is a benefit for widows and widowerswho have the right to at least two pension benefitsincluding a survivor's pension after the deceased spouse. Currently, they can only receive one of these benefits – higher or selected. According to the new regulations, they can choose whether they want to receive the entire survivor and 15 percent. your own benefit, or vice versa.
To apply for a widow's pension, the Applicant must meet certain conditions. Women must be 60 years old and men 65 years old. In addition, the person submitting the application should have the right to two pension benefits, including a survivor's pension after the deceased spouse.

To receive a widow pension from July 2025, the application (Erwd form) must be submitted by July 31, 2025 at the latest. Applications can be submitted both in paper and electronic form – via PUE or EZUS platforms.
It is worth remembering that the right to benefit will be granted from the month in which the application received, but not earlier than from July 1, 2025.
