Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, expressed doubts on Tuesday about the possibility of reaching an agreement with the current leaders of European countries. During a press conference in Moscow, he emphasized that Russia remains open to talks, but the conditions for their implementation currently seem unfavorable.

“If someone wants to talk to us seriously, don't brag about it loudly and then don't look around haughtily, but just call us, as is diplomatic custom.” – said Lavrov, suggesting that the current approach of European leaders is not conducive to constructive dialogue. He also added that Russia has not yet received any documents related to recent talks between the United States and European countries about a potential peace agreement in Ukraine.

Russia at the World Economic Forum in Davos
At the same time, the World Economic Forum is taking place in Davos, where the Kremlin's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, appeared. He announced on social media his arrival at the summit, where he plans to talk about the war in Ukraine. According to reports from Axios, Dmitriev is to meet with representatives of the US president, including Steve Witkoff, as well as Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Dmitriev intends to provide the American side with information from Moscow regarding the peace process in Ukraine. However, the details of these talks remain unknown, and their potential effects may be crucial for the further development of the situation in the region.
