Ukraine sent 70 collaborators to Russia. In the list – Medvedchuk ally

The colaborators were exchanged for dozens of Ukrainian civil hostages, which Russia has illegally held for years.

Profiles 31 collaborators who left the territory of Ukraine today presented on the project website marked / left / left. Among them are 14 residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region, seven from Donetsk, three from Kyiv, two from Ivano-Frankivsk and one collaborator from Vinnitsa, Kharkov, Khmelnitskaya, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.

Among them is Alexander Tarnashinsky. As LB.UA wrote, Tarnashinsky was one of the leaders of the Ukrainian choice – the party of former People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of state treason. The Security Service of Ukraine detained Tarnashinsky in 2022. According to the investigation, he was engaged in preparing to overthrow the constitutional system in Ukraine and coordinated his actions with the Russian special services.

Another collaborator that Ukraine sent to Russia is Vitaly Vasiliev. According to “I want to be mine”, in February 2020 he received a passport of the so -called “LPR” and from the Kyiv region left for Lugansk.

After that, he agreed to provide the representative of the occupation authorities with the contacts of the SBU employee, who, in turn, transmitted information about 14 other employees of the Ukrainian special services, whom they wanted to use for subversive activities against Ukraine.

Another 262 collaborators, whose profiles were published on the site, are expected to leave for the Russian Federation.

Context

On May 23, the exchange began between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in the format “1000 per 1000”, about which the delegations of the two countries agreed during negotiations in Istanbul (Türkiye) on May 16. Within the framework of the first stage of exchange in Ukraine, it was possible to return 390 people (270 military and 120 civilians). The continuation of the exchange, according to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, will be May 24 and 25.
