Republican Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the Chamber of Representatives in the US Congress, representing the state of Florida, sent a support message for the gold leader, George Simion on Thursday, in the context of the presidential election on Sunday in our country, stating that this candidate is “pro-America” and “pro-Maga”.
“The candidate for the Presidency of Romania George Simion is pro-America and pro-Maga!”, Wrote the representative of the Republican Party, in a short message published on the social network X, referring to the famous slogan of US President Donald Trump (“Make America Great Again”).

Anna Paulina Luna was part of the American delegation that discussed a month ago, on April 15, with interim president Ilie Bolojan on the invalidation of last year's presidential elections.
During the discussions at the Cotroceni Palace, the American delegation asked what happened in December, when Romania decided to cancel the presidential elections, and was satisfied with the answers received, political sources for Hotnews at that time.
The members of the delegation have not expressed concerns about any problems regarding the elections in May, says the Romanian side. At the end of the discussion, US officials did not offer any statement on election cancellation.
The quoted sources have cataloged the discussion between the delegation made up of eight members of the US Congress, Democrats and Republicans, and Romanian President Ilie Bolojan as “an extremely good one, and US representatives had a warm and open attitude”.
The American delegation present in Cotroceni also transmitted, according to sources, that it wants to continue and strengthen the partnership between the US and Romania.
The delegation also included: Democrat Dina Titus, Democrat Lloyd Doggett, Democrat Ted Lieu, Republican Neal Dunn, Democrat Ilhan Omar, Republican Andy Ogles and Republican Anna Paulina Luna.
On the same day, on April 15, the leader of Gold, George Simion announced that he was meeting Anna Paulina Luna, also in the context of the official visit of the American delegation to Romania.
During the discussions, the Gold leader presented the “serious” situation regarding the annulment of the presidential elections in Romania, gold said, in a press release. “I made sure that the Republicans present these days in Romania know everything about the blow to democracy. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (Florida), a true fighter for freedom,” said George Simion, at the end of the meeting.
