Presidential debate Rafał Trzaskowski – Karol Nawrocki. Key clash before the election


The debate is to take about 90 minutes. It is divided into six thematic blocks: health, international policy, economy, social policy, security and worldview.
The first round concerns health. The first question was asked by Karol Nawrocki, who raised the topic of long queues to doctors. “How do you want to take care of the health of Poles, how can you not cope with this topic in Warsaw?” he asked. In response, Rafał Trzaskowski pointed out that queues are shortening in the capital. He talked about fast telephone tips. Karol Nawrocki accused the opponent of records in queues in Warsaw.
The first question of Rafał Trzaskowski concerned the in vitro program, which was treated during the PiS rule. “I will not go out with initiatives in this matter,” admitted Karol Nawrocki. At the same time, he declared that he would not be a great opponent and would not disturb local governments.
Karol Nawrocki asked about plans for the privatization of health care. Rafał Trzaskowski denied that he did not intend to strive for privatization of hospitals. He gave an example of a growing clinic system in Warsaw. “Mr. Fairy Tales tells” – retired presidential candidate supported by PiS.
Rafał Trzaskowski asked about the settlement of PiS politicians for their actions during the coronavirus pandemic. In response, he heard that Karol Nawrocki had nothing to do with PiS. “I intend to settle the terrible government of Donald Tusk,” he emphasized.
“How many PiS closed hospitals?” – asked Rafał Trzaskowski. Karol Nawrocki said that during those rule he was the president of the Institute of National Remembrance. He argued that no government managed to reform health care, but as bad as it was not yet.
