Nicuşor Dan's message before the investment ceremony: “We have 35 years to be repaired. It will not be easy”

The president of Nicuşor Dan thanked on Saturday for confidence to those who voted for him and transmitted that “each of us is needed to repair the past.

“Romania, we continue on the democratic, pro-European and transatlantic path with the hope of a better future! There are no rescuers-we build the country we want together. Thank you for trusting-I will do everything I can honor,” writes Nicuşor Dan in a message on the X. A similar message was published by his Facebook account.

“I thank the women who voted against violence – you are equal citizens and deserve more. Thank you to the elderly who have put above the good of children and grandchildren – we owe you gratitude and a decent life. I thank the men who have understood that man Showed that Romania is their country – Együtt Sikerülni Fog! Thanks to the Roma community, but forgot the history – Bi Diskriminaciako Amenisaras.

Nicuşor Dan thanks to the journalists who “guarded democracy and the future”, but also to the observers who have made sure that each vote matters. The president chosen also thanks to the politicians who put the national interest above the party. But also “every honest Romanian who chose the good not only for himself and his, but for Romania, wherever they are.”

“It will not be easy. We will make mistakes, we will have obstacles. We have to repair 35 years and we need the effort of each of us. With patience, with understanding and hope,” concludes the president.
