It is about legal solutions that will lead to the completion of the import of the year of gas from Russia to 2027. Slovakia and Hungary oppose this, which are still imported by Russian energy carriers.
“We must prevent this with all possible ways. It makes no sense to have a pipeline if it is impossible to bring gas with it,” said Orban, referring to the Turkstream gas pipeline, which Russia constantly provides fuel, among others. just to Hungary. Orban also assured that if the Union authorities compensate for his country the costs of baning Russian gas, Budapest is open to talks in this matter.
