Elon Musk retweeted this entry on his profile. The billionaire added a short comment to it. “The population collapse is accelerating,” wrote the Tesla owner, who, according to media reports, has a total of 14 children with four different partners.

Dramatic fertility rate in Poland. The Central Statistical Office presented the data
The latest data published by the Central Statistical Office shows that in 2024 the fertility rate in Poland was exactly 1.099. It is assumed that maintaining a constant population of a given country, i.e. generation replacement, occurs when the fertility rate is 2.1.

It is estimated that if the fertility situation in Poland does not improve, by 2060 the population in our country may decline by almost 25%. This would mean that just over 28 million people will live there.
The Central Statistical Office reports dramatic data
In November, the Central Statistical Office published the latest data on Poland's changing demography. The fertility rate in 2024 was 1.099 — results from the latest demographic yearbook of the Central Statistical Office. According to the Central Statistical Office, Poland in 2024 had a negative natural increase: – 4.17. The average lifespan for women was 82.26 years and for men 74.93 years.
The fertility rate is the average number of children a woman would give birth to during the entire reproductive period (15-49 years), assuming that in each phase of this period she would give birth at the intensity observed among women in the year in question.
