Fire at a railway station in the Cernăuţi region, following a drone attack intercepted by the Ukrainian army

A fire broke out, on Friday morning, at a railway station in the Cernăuţi region, as a result of the fall of a Russian drone intercepted by the Ukrainian army, announced the head of the Cernăuţi Military Administration, Ruslan Zaparaniuk.

Zaparaniuk said that following the drone attack on the Cernăuţi region, no victims were registered, according to Agerpres.
“As a result of the fall of the debris, a fire broke out in the railway station in one of the districts of the Cernăuţi region. The fire was promptly located by the SNS units. Fortunately, they are not injured or killed,” wrote the governor from Cernăuţi on his Facebook account.
During the Friday morning, several explosions were heard in the Cernăuţi region.
According to the media reports, the first explosion took place at 4:26. At 4:39 am, repeated explosions were reported in the area.
“Straighten immediately to the shelter!”
An aerial alert was declared at 4:14, amid the threat represented by the enemy drones in Northern Bukovina.
“I thank the defense forces and, in particular, the PPO fighters for protection! Take care of you! In case of alarm, straighten immediately to the shelter!”, said Ruslan Zaparaniuk in his Facebook post
We remind that, on Saturday, May 17, the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, was targeted by an intense attack with Russian drones. The opera was killed, and another three, including a child, were injured.
