Russian leader Vladimir Putin informed on Thursday via the video link representatives of his government that he decided to create a “buffer security zone” along the border with Ukraine – the Russian state agency RIA Nowosti said.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Pieskov announced on Thursday that Moscow has not yet reached any agreement with Kiev regarding the second meeting, at which the suspension of weapons in Ukraine would be negotiated.
“No agreement has been reached yet, there are no specific findings regarding future meetings,” Pieskov said – work is underway on the implementation of already reached agreements. “
He emphasized that both Russia and Ukraine want the exchange of war prisoners “1000 for 1000” announced last Friday in Turkey and only then the possibility of continuing the talks will be considered. “Everyone wants it to happen as soon as possible” – noted Pieskov.
