Ukraine must decide on its own future

Following a visit to India, Vance said on Wednesday that the lines of demarcation of Russian and Ukrainian forces should run “near the current lines” of the front. This would mean that both Moscow and Kiev would have to agree to give some of the territories they currently control – the politician added.
The vice president emphasized that the US presented Russia and Ukraine a “very clear proposal” regarding the road to the peace agreement. He warned that in the event of a refusal the United States “would withdraw from this process.”
The statement of the British government was issued during the talks in London between high -level officials from Great Britain, France, Germany, the USA and Ukraine.
Withdrawal from participation in the meeting of the Secretary of State of the US Marc Rubio and the envoy of President Donald Trump for the Middle East Steve Witkoff reduced the rank of the event. The United States is to represent Trump's envoy to Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg.
