The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) announced on Thursday that it has sanctioned with fines of 10,000 lei and 5,000 lei and with two public public summons Realitatea Plus and issued a series of decisions to act against illegal content for audiovisual materials identified on Tiktok and Facebook, Agerpres reports.
In a public hearing, the CNA analyzed the reports prepared by the Monitoring Directorate as a result of the self-assessment and the notifications received and decided to apply to the post Realitatea Plus the following sanctions:
- Fine of 10,000 lei for non -observance of the provisions of art. 6 para. (1) letter. c) from the CNA decision no. 86 of February 25, 2025 regarding the rules of conducting in the audiovisual campaign for the election of the President of Romania from 2025 at the broadcast of the “Sulces of the Parallel State” of April 23 and “you decide” (you decisions “(editions of the 16.58 – 08.53, 08.59 – 10.53 – 10.5.54 – 30.54.54). In the same meeting, after analyzing the reports prepared by the Monitoring Directorate and the Control Directorate, the Council decided to issue decisions regarding the order to act against the illegal content for audiovisual materials identified on Tiktok and Facebook that violates the audiovisual law.
