Simion wants to cancel the results of the presidential election in Romania. Durov is ready to testify

“I officially ask the Constitutional Court to cancel the presidential elections in Romania (May 2025),” the politician wrote.

According to him, for the same reason – “external intervention of state and non -state entities” – the December elections were canceled.

“This time it is proved by evidence! Neither France, nor Moldova, nor anyone else has the right to intervene in the elections of another state,” Simion said.

He urged compatriots to urgently appeal to the Constitutional Court “with a request to cancel this farce.”

“We will not give up and will not betray! This is only the beginning of a great victory!” – summed up the presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, the founder of Telegram Pavel Durov in X noted that he was ready to come and testify if this helps Romanian democracy.

Before that, on May 18, Durov in Telegram wrote that one European country demanded that he block the Romanian political channels.

“I resolutely refused. Telegram will not limit the freedom of Romanian users and will not block their political channels. You can’t“ protect democracy ”, destroying democracy. You can’t“ fight the election ”, interfering in the elections,” he noted.

On the same day, Durov said in X that on the eve of the vote, the French government, in particular, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of France, Nicolas Lerner, asked him to ban accounts associated with Romanian farmings.

The Foreign Ministry of France noted in X that information about allegedly French intervention in the Romanian presidential election was unreliable.
