“He was stunned! That's what he told me he wanted to do”

Adrian Mititelu, the financier of FCU Craiova, revealed the dialogue he had these days with Vladislav Blănuță, the striker coveted by Dinamoin a really ungrateful situation at Dynamo Kyiv. According to the businessman, the option of returning to Romania is completely excluded by the 23-year-old international.

Contested by the supporters and out of favor with the coach of Dinamo Kiev, Vladislav Blănuță has a nightmare adventure in Ukraine. The Romanian is no longer part of Surkis' team, and discussions about a return to Romanian football have multiplied in recent weeks.

Asked about Blanuță's situation, Adrian Mititelu offered several categorical statements about his former player.

Adrian Mititelu intervenes in the “Blănuță case”: “He was stunned, he does not know why he is not playing. He is not coming back to Romania”

“He told me clearly… I spoke to him following these press materials, yes i am too i'm very upset because they didn't let him play anymore and that led to us not getting money that was due to us. I counted on them, this seems to me a very frivolous thing.

And he was stunned, he doesn't know why he doesn't play. I see that x-rays are being taken, but have you seen how many minutes Blănuță has played so far? With the exception of game two in which he was the starter, he played five to six minutes.

And he clearly said that he is not leaving, he cannot play for another team. He told me that he is not making any moves to FIFA to receive anything and that he is staying at Dynamo Kyiv until the summerthat he prepares with them. Under no circumstances is he returning to Romania.

My opinion is that he will earn his place! He came after a period where he didn't play, he didn't prepare, he was also stressed with the transfer and the problems that were here, but after that he prepared very well.

He was not used at all, a great injustice was done to him! He also made a mistake, he made that statement (No. sharing Russian pro-war narratives on TikTok)but you can't mock him in this outfit!”, said Adrian Mititelu, in dialogue with GSP.ro.

Adrian Mititelu spoke with Vladislav Blănuță and reveals:

In September, Dinamo Kiev spent two million dollars for the transfer of the Romanian striker. The contract also stipulated certain accessible bonuses, which could “push” the amount towards 2.4 million. Also, Adrian Mititelu kept 20% of a future transfer of the footballer.

Bypassed by the coach, Blănuță made only ten appearances for the Kiev formation, scoring only one goal.

Blănuță is still an option, but there things are also influenced by his situation, especially by the fact that Dinamo would be the third team. We should manage this aspect as well. There is no way we can fix things before the transfer is made.

If we ask, the answer will probably be the same as with the other Romanian authorities: “wait”. Once we have an agreement in principle, everything becomes much easier

Is FIFA intervening for Blanuță's transfer to Dinamo?

The regulation says that Vladislav Blănuță, 23 years old, is stuck at Dinamo Kiev until the end of the season, as he has already played for two clubs in the '25-'26 season. But FIFA could make an exception, indicates an answer obtained by Gazeta Sporturilor from a lawyer specializing in sports law. Details to follow.

The regulation states that a footballer can transfer in one season to a maximum of 3 clubs, BUT he has the right to play for only two of them. As Blănuță performed for both FCU Craiova and Dinamo Kiev, theoretically the striker no longer has the right to play in the current season for another team.

But Gazeta obtained a point of view from Cristian Cernodolea, a lawyer specializing in sports, which claims that FIFA could rule in favor of the footballer in an exceptional case. It also provides an example – the transfer of Jalen Blesa to the University of Craiova, registered after the closing of the mercato window, possibly with a derogation given by FIFA.

Applied to Blanuță's situation, a credible legal argument could have been made that the hostile and threatening environment created by Dinamo Kiev fans, in the circumstances of a country at war, constituted an exceptional circumstance, justifying a possible waiver to allow him to register and play for more clubs than is normally allowed in a single season.
