SuperLiga: The boss of FC Botoșani revealed which team he fears the most. “The 'crocodile' will eat us all!”

FC Botoșani has had an unexpectedly good season so far and is in 3rd position after 20 stages, just one point behind the leader Rapid. Even so, the boss of the Moldovan team suggested that he still fears FCSB the most, even if Gigi Becali's team is currently outside the play-off zone.
Valeriu Iftime believes that Gigi Becali will make new transfers to FCSB if he wins the derby with Rapid this weekend, in the last stage before entering the winter break.
“Then you will see Gigi Becali put his hand deep into his pocket again and pay a lot of money to strengthen the team. And Mr. Gigi Becali has money. If FCSB enters the play-offs, then the “crocodile” will eat us all! They will come like a roller over us, it doesn't matter if they enter from 5th or 6th place, because in the play-offs there will be another championship. You saw what strength FCSB had with Feyenoord, when did he start the engines and come from behind? That's what will happen in the play-offs,” said FC Botoșani's boss, according to ProSport.
He explained that FCSB has “the most experience in playing matches with such a stake”.
“Now at first glance, we from FC Botoșani will fight for the title with Rapid, Dinamo and Craiova, but then look at FCSB if they enter the play-offs”, Valeriu Iftime also declared.
The derby between FCSB and Rapid will be played on Sunday, from 20:00, at the National Arena. There is currently a gap of 11 points between the defending champion and the leader.
