The president can, Anamaria Gavrilă, who supported the gold leader, George Simion, in the race for Cotroceni commented on his Facebook page the results of the presidential poll.

“Tomorrow we are waiting for the euro to decrease to 1 leu, to rise the country rating at AAA and to be advanced at the level of full democracy,” wrote the deputy on his Facebook page.

His message collected over 1,700 comments, stirring reactions from 12,000 people.

  • “Unfortunately I missed the gasoline to 1 leu.”
  • “Lady, heaven is not a place where acritory is found.”
  • “Hard to accept that the hatred and the show did not catch. The Romanians did not let themselves be manipulated by frustrated bits, slogans and influences.”
  • “Remember to put gas in a lion and buy a house for 35000 euros.”
  • “From tomorrow at work and learned the book!”
  • “Reaction of a 7 -year -old child! Maybe you take your toys and leave”, are some of the comments left by the Romanians at the message of the leader can.

Before the poll, Gavrilă had asked for a psychiatric exam for the Bucharest mayor. “We invite him, with all the consideration, to publicly declare that he does not suffer from any mental illness, that he does not follow a specialized drug treatment and that he is willing, if necessary, to undergo an independent medical control,” Gavrilă wrote on his Facebook page.

The final results show that Nicușor Dan obtained 53.6% of the votes (6,168,642 votes), and George Simion took 46.4% (5,339,053 votes).

Although initially the golden leader claimed the victory despite the exit polls that gave the mayor of the capital, later acknowledged his defeat.

The race for Cotroceni of Nicușor Dan is an unprecedented one in the history of our democracy.

He started, after round 1, with 20% less than George Simion, the president of Gold being an absolute favorite.
