I passed the first big hop! There is an equally large one: the construction of the new government and the governing program
As the newly elected president, Nicușor Dan, said today at work! With the hope that, to the previous distinction, the new president knows and can listen to what the usual citizens say: commentators, journalists, analysts, politically independent!

The first hop was passed. We have a president with the mind, not a fanfaron one! But heavy and very heavy decisions await us, resulting from the fiscal-budget situation of Romania: 9-10% budget deficit, external debt 55% of GDP, the risk of blocking European funds and Romania's entry into the “Junk” category.
Of course, the election as president of Nicușor Dan, a man with his whole mind and who is not served to the party interests, gives us a breath, an increase in the confidence of the European partners that we will be able to solve what needs to be resolved. The confidence obtained does not last in time, if it is not followed by the strictly necessary measures in the fiscal-budget, which is very difficult to achieve, but which will enjoy the honest and honest explanations offered by the President of Romania.
The new government
From the debates that Nicușor Dan participated in, it turned out that the new president understands the priorities of Romania and the direction in which he must go: respecting the treaties and agreements with the EU and NATO. There are in -depth discussions with persons responsible for ministries to build directly from the source how we are and what we have to do.
The political context. The PSD has registered electoral failures in the election of the president, but especially from the fact that under the leadership of Marcel Ciolacu he led Romania to the extremely difficult fiscal-budgetary state in which we are today. As such, I do not see how to have claims in “providing” the new prime minister, especially since they have to clear their waters regarding his new leadership, with or without the “night of long knives”! Especially since, following a difficult time in the country's government, the PSD would pay the budgetary sacrifices to be made.
Under these conditions, I expect the new government by the PSD, without giving the prime minister and possibly neither ministers. The USR co -operation in the new government formula is again a possible and necessary thing to strengthen the parliamentary majority that generates and supports the new Government.
The best choice would be Ilie Bolojan, future Premier. He has a brilliant past in the administration of the Oradea City Hall and Bihor County, demonstrated determination, tenacity, intelligence and courage, when he reduced the staff of CJ Bihor. President Nicușor Dan also appreciates him, but also PNL and USR.
Ilie Bolojan would build their new government team according to its image and likeness, with ministers determined and capable of producing the necessary changes in the central and local administration of the country.
The program of governing the new team of ministers will include the reduction of the state operating expenses. This would affect and dissatisfy a large mass of budget, and only the calm and thorough explanations of the Dan-Bolojan team could alleviate them.
But without these budgetary sacrifices we do not have access to the European money and we risk not being able to borrow to pay pensions and budgetary salaries. Preferably they would be without massive taxes and taxes, VAT, if the work was possible. The Dan-Bolojan team must find the balance between the needs demanded by the budget situation and the degree of supportability of the population.
New characters capable of country leadership
The new government program, for the next four years, must take into account where we are leaving and where we need to get. This is why we need the illuminated minds we have and we must attract the country's government.
In addition to the new ministers, possibly accompanied by a significant reduction in the number of ministries, the important institutions of the central administration will have to be run by competent people, not the prisoners of the party. This is the quick and important step that Dan-Bolojan team has to make. Otherwise, the quality of the projects and programs necessary for Romania, their fulfillment, will not have the expected effect. We clarified in 35 years what the management of the institutions means by the political prisoners of the political clients: the illiterates arrived in management positions, only for their contributions to the budgets of the parties. This must cease immediately and without such a measure the credibility of the Dan-Bolojan team will not be possible.
There are many other necessary and urgent measures, time, unfortunately presses. On June 4, it is a date due to the EC, in which the fate of the European funds granted to Romania will be decided. There is no time, therefore, of mosquitoes and changes.
If we do not go well and this second big hop, Geaba we passed the first, the president's choice.
The confidence in the ability of the Dan-Bolojan team to lead the country has gained very hard, but it can be lost very easily, from a few wrong decisions!
