A resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in front of the police threw a home -made weapon from the car

In the Novoselovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the police detained a driver who, in their eyes, threw a home-made rifle from the VAZ-2107 window.

Everything happened on the Birch Log – Barait – Kamchatka highway. After stopping the car, a 72-year-old resident of the Uzhursky district said that he went to the forest to “shoot” a home-made weapon inherited from his father.

According to the detainee, he realized the illegality of his actions, therefore, having seen a patrol car in the rear -view mirror, he decided to get rid of the “homemade”.

It was seized, as well as a sleeve and two cartridges. The examination found that the subject presented for the study was made by a home -made way by the type of “broken” rifles and is a single -barreled rifled firearms suitable for shooting.

In relation to the man, they opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “illegal acquisition and storage of firearms.” The maximum punishment that threatens him, – imprisonment for up to 5 years.
