How voters have changed between presidential tours and who can decide the final

The polls conducted after the first election in the presidential elections 2025 continue the trend from the first round, gathering the score between the presidential finalists, Nicușor Dan and George Simion. The two candidates are quoted even with the same percent. Thus, on Sunday, the balance will be inclined in favor of a candidate by the voters who have not expressed their option at the first poll.

“The waters are a bit divided. At the moment, almost everyone has strengthened their intention to vote. Things are relatively clear to everyone. (…) Even those who are undecided have their reasons to be undeclared and may make a decision on the last day. (…) A strong emotion, generated by a statement, points out the sociologist Gelu Sunday.
For his part, the sociologist Ionaș Vladimir points out that a massive presence would ensure clarity on the evening of the vote: “Only a very great presence can change something of this clarity we have, otherwise not. We will have an extreme score, extremely tight between the two, at least in the country. (…) The estimated presence is about 60%. We still have an important percentage, somewhere in 7% of the electorate, who still thinks if to participate. (…) The difference can be done by only those who have not voted in the first round and will come out now ”.
“Generally, those who vote in addition to the tour One, come out with a vote against. And that's why they say they can make a difference”, Explains Ionaș Vladimir.
