“May and June are decisive months to form a future cabbage harvest. It is during this period that plants especially need nutrients. Bring the right top dressing – and get a rich harvest,” the article says.
In total, you need to carry out three top dressing. The first fertilizers are applied three weeks after planting cabbage seedlings.
“It is best to use organic fertilizers, for example, a solution of mullein,” the authors of the publication advised. “Dilute the mullein in water in a ratio of 1:10 and give, mix thoroughly.”
Under each plant, add 0.5 – 1 liter of solution.
“The second top dressing for cabbage is applied after 10 days. 0.5 liters of chicken droppings dilute water in a bucket and add 10 g of urea there. Mix everything thoroughly. Each cabbage bush must be fed with a liter of such a solution,” the article says.
The third top dressing should be done in early July.
“In 5 liters of water, dilute 2 tbsp. L. superphosphate and pour this fertilizer to the bed,” the material says.
