In Krasnoyarsk, the overhaul of two kindergartens is being completed: No. 206, located in the Oktyabrsky district, and No. 110 in Kirovsky. The mayor's office reported that builders are actively finishing the interior decoration so that by the end of the year the children will be able to return to the renovated premises.

In kindergarten No. 110, built back in 1960, work is in full swing not only inside, but also outside. In addition to replacing all utility networks, repairing the roof and foundation, landscaping is currently underway: new asphalt is being laid and fencing is being installed. The finishing of the façade and premises is being completed, as well as the laying of tiles in the toilet rooms. Old wooden windows and doors have been replaced with modern plastic ones.

Kindergarten No. 206 is a little younger, it was built in 1964. Large-scale work has also been carried out here to replace utility networks, repair the roof and foundation. Workers are currently working on the façade of the building and laying new floors. As in kindergarten No. 110, new plastic windows and doors have been installed here.

The contractors will also improve the areas: install small architectural forms and shady canopies. In addition, modern educational, gaming and technological equipment will be purchased.

Completion of work is scheduled for December 2025. During the renovation, students are distributed to other preschool institutions in the city. The updated kindergartens will be able to accommodate 261 children.

“Repair is a troublesome task, but necessary. Very soon, little new residents will be able to return to their homes and appreciate the updated groups and playrooms, and adults will see how much work has been completed,” noted Marina Aksenova, head of the main education department.

Let us remind you that preschool institutions are being repaired as part of the national project “Youth and Children”. The work is financed from the federal, regional and local budgets. The total cost exceeds 307 million rubles.

In the next two years, at the expense of regional and federal funds, it is also planned to carry out major repairs in kindergartens No. 60, 282, 292, as well as four schools No. 18, 46, 62, 85. Repair work at schools No. 30, 78, 94 and educational site No. 2 of the Pokrovsky Complex (Stepan Razin St., 39) is already underway
