Rostelecom launched an innovative training class based on the college of radio electronics and information technology in Krasnoyarsk.
In four months, students will be able to undergo professional training for free, pass exams and begin to work as a master of maintenance of subscribers.
The educational course includes a theoretical block and practical classes. In the learning process, participants will gain access to a corporate online university where lecture materials are posted. In the training class, they will be able to consolidate knowledge by working with modern tools, equipment, gadgets and software and software systems used in the work of signalmen and IT specialists.
“The program is designed for 64 academic hours. It allows students to completely plunge into the profession. Online lectures will be held by Rostelecom experts, and full-time classes are college teachers who have also passed our training, ”said Alexey Usatov, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.
At the end of the course, students will learn to connect and configure digital services, work with routers, TV settings, video cameras, intercom and smart home systems. Another important skill will be the ability to clearly and effectively interact with customers of services.
“The new training class is an important result of the joint work of the college and Rostelecom. In the future, we plan to expand the curricula and use additional sites for technological conversion. Practical knowledge gained by students will significantly increase their competitiveness in the labor market, ”said Alexander Voinov, director of the Krasnoyarsk College of Radio Electronics and Information Technologies.
Classes in the course will start in early October. Its graduates will be able to get a job in Rostelecom and continue to develop professionally, choosing partial or full employment.
