The American actor of Romanian origin Sebastian Stan expressed his support for the independent candidate Nicușor Dan, in the race for the Cotroceni Palace, through a video message sent from Los Angeles. The Hollywood star, nominated this year in Oscar, encouraged the Romanians to vote.
Sebastian Stan's message was short, but visibly enthusiastic. “Come to the vote! It will not be easy, but it will be Nicușor! Romania, I love you!” – the actor transmitted, in the video published online, on Thursday night to Friday.
In addition, the American actor writes, on a poster with Nicușor Dan, the urge: “Come to vote!”.
Sebastian Stan was nominated for the Oscar 2025 prizes in the category best actor in the lead role, for his interpretation in The Apprentice, in which he plays Donald Trump in youth. The actor won in January and the Golden Globe for the same role.

The independent candidate was satisfied with the actor for support: “I thank the sebastian stare, who won the Golden Globe and was nominated for the Oscar in the best actor in the male role, for the explicit and very exciting support. Come to vote!”.
