Nuclearelectrica sends its management to professional training / How much money is allocated for the courses

The shareholders of Nuclearelectrica are called to approve, on April 29, the approval of the participation of the company's administrators in a professional training course in the field of corporate governance or in a field of nuclear-specific training, according to a notice published on Friday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The costs related to participation in the courses will be borne by the company, within the limit of 10,000 euros per administrator, annually, without VAT.

The Nomination and Remuneration Committee (CNR) within the Board of Directors will be mandated to analyze the existing offer on the market, according to the agenda of the General Meeting of Shareholders on April 29.

The Committee will be responsible for identifying specialist providers and proposing to the Council participation in training programs deemed relevant.

Nuclearelectrica invokes the obligations assumed by administrators through mandate contracts, which provide for the updating of professional skills.

Of the six members of the Board of Directors, only two have training in the nuclear field

The six members of the Board of Directors are Laurentiu Nicolae Cazan (president), Andrei Gabriel Benghea Mălăieș, Dumitru Chirleșan, Nina Popa, Vasilica Grăjdan and Gheorghe Ioniță.

According to the CVs published on the Nuclearelectrica website, only two of them have studies in the nuclear field. Gheorghe Ioniță is a doctor in physics, specializing in “Nuclear Energy”, and has experience in the field of nuclear energy. Also, Dumitru Chirleșan is a doctor in physics, specializing in “Nuclear Reactors”, and rector of the University of Pitesti.

Vasilica Grăjdan has training and experience in the field of human resources. Nina Popa has training in the field of public administration, Laurențiu Nicolae Cazan is a lawyer and former PNL deputy, and Andrei Gabriel Benghea Mălăiesș is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration and held several positions in state companies.
