Emmanuel Macron in a television interview was asked about Russia's readiness to talk in Turkey about a truce in the war against Ukraine.

The President of France said that European countries want to apply sanctions against Russia in consultation with the United States and expressed the opinion that sanctions could be imposed “in the coming days” if Russia did not implement a truce.
