Abu Dhabi gas terminal suspends operations. The reason was the Iranian attack


On Thursday, the Abu Dhabi press office announced the temporary suspension of the operation of the Habshan gas terminal. The decision was made after fragments of a missile fell near the facility and were intercepted by the air defense of the United Arab Emirates. No injuries or major material losses were reported as a result of the incident.

In parallel, there was an attack on the Bab oil field. Again, no casualties or significant damage to infrastructure were reported.

Attack on the South Pars field in Iran

Earlier, Iran issued an official warning calling for the evacuation of oil terminals in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. According to Iranian communications, these facilities were to become the target of attacks “in the coming hours.” These actions by Tehran are in response to the attack on the main Iranian gas facility located in Bandar Kangan on the Persian Gulf.
