
“In May, fruit trees actively build up leaves and establish a crop. In order not to lose future fruits, you need to make mandatory top dressing,” the article says.
Young trees really need nitrogen, which is needed to actively build up green mass.
“Therefore, in May, such trees should be fed with humus and compost. For trees that are not yet three years old, use one or two buckets of fertilizers, for older trees – at least four buckets,” they advised in the publication.
You can also use bird droppings for top dressing. It needs to be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 and watering trees under the root. Before making top dressing, be sure to dig the soil at the trunk, fertilize and bury. Then generously pour the site.
