SpaceX Musk launched Polish satellites into orbit that can be used for military purposes

According to Space X, Falcon 9 has already carried out the 15th mission of the Transporter rideshare program, which allows the simultaneous delivery of satellites and other payloads from different countries into space. This time there were 140 of them.

Polish Radio clarified that the launch of the Transporter-15 mission is scheduled for November 11. Later it was postponed several times – to November 19, 20, 22 and 26.

During the 15th Transporter rideshare mission, Polish vehicles were launched into orbit. These are the MikroSAR satellite created by the Polish-Finnish company ICEYE, a constellation of three PIAST satellites and a nanosatellite from the Wroclaw company SatRev. They can be used for both civilian and military purposes, the article says.

The media explained that the largest satellite, ICEYE, uses synthetic aperture technology to monitor the Earth's surface using radar. The system provides continuous surveillance of desired areas, such as military, transport or energy infrastructure. In the event of military operations, they can be used for reconnaissance and tracking the movements of enemy troops, detecting hidden enemy equipment, and assessing destruction.
