More than two hundred workers of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station and their families became participants in the Immortal Regiment campaign and the solemn procession of labor collectives of the Kezhemsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Representatives of the labor collective and the trade union organization of the station became participants in the rally-River and laid wreaths at the Glory Memorial.
“This year we celebrate an important date in our history – 80 years from the date of victory in the Great Patriotic War. This holiday reminds us of the courage and selflessness of those who fought for the freedom and independence of our homeland. Their heroism and resistance are an example for us. Power engineers supported the efforts of the administration and residents of the city of Kodinsk to restore order on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and cleaned in three regions of the city. On May 7, several dozen power engineers and members of their families became participants in the first athletics race in the history of 1418 meters. Each meter of distance symbolizes one day of the war. The race became the tribute of respect to all front -line soldiers and only workers of the rear. The youngest participant was only six years old, and the oldest was more than sixty. Athletes carried a copy of the Banner of Victory, the flags of Russia and the portraits of their relatives – the heroes of the war.
By the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the HPP employees opened an exposition on the Alley of Glory dedicated to their relatives-front-line soldiers and rear workers, as well as the history of the Kezhemsky district during the war years. The collection of information was held as part of the long -term project “Remember. Proud. We honor ” – energy searches for several years in a row were looking for photographs, memories of relatives and genuine documents to form biographical certificates. The exposition on the Alley of Glory will be available to all residents and guests of the Kezhemsky district who will be able to read stories about the heroes of the war by switching to the website of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station on QR codes located at each stand.
In the lobby of the service and production building, the memorial photo exhibition “between the past and the future” was opened. The exposition included photographs of the Great Patriotic War, portraits of veterans and personnel of recent events dedicated to the great holiday. Many employees of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station and their children took part in the creative contest “Songs of our heroes”, recorded videos, with the performance of poems dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. These entries on the eve of the holiday were broadcast on the large screen in the lobby of the main building of the station.

Festive events in the city of Kodinsk began on May 8. In the Removing Road “Victory Roads”, dozens of cars decorated with congratulations, copies of the Banner of Victory and the banners of the branches of the Russian army were driving in one column. Drivers, among whom were employees of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station, welcomed the townspeople with songs of the war years and signals. The retro cars of the station employees throughout the day participated in the field concerts of the Front Brigade in different areas of Kodinsk.
In the evening of May 8, the backlight of the structures of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station worked in a special “flickering” mode. The flickering of light symbolized the flame of eternal fire, and became a tribute to the respect of millions of Soviet soldiers who defended the freedom and independence of our homeland. On May 9, videos with the stories of the station employees about their relatives – the heroes of the Patriotic War were published on social networks. Power engineers became participants in festive concerts, sports competitions and other anniversary events that ended in a salute in honor of Victory Day.
Events dedicated to the preservation of the memory of the defenders of Russia will continue throughout 2025.
