From the People's School of Arts to the doctors' orchestra
Silviei Nica's passion for music started from childhood, when in the first class he had the opportunity to enroll in the folk art school in Focșani.
“In class I I started to sing after two people came to school who explained that we could, if we want, register for the People's Art School. After this meeting, I told my parents that I want to go to the violin. They did not contradict me, the parents let me decide ”she tells.
The father accompanied her on Sunday to a selection, and at the end it was announced that she was admitted. “That's how I started singing”Says Silvia Nica.
Music, the remedy of the soul
After tiring days in which he cares for hundreds of patients, the violin becomes a real refuge for Silvia.
“Music is the medicine that helps me keep balance for a healthy life“She says.”As a child, I knew the repertoire of the known soloists in Romania, Angela Similea, Corina Chiriac, and we sang their songs daily”.
Out of love for the violin and for the moments spent with loved ones, Dr. Silvia Nica joined the doctors' Orchestra, a unique project in which she evolves with her husband and son.
“I sing in the doctors' orchestra. It means my third family. The first is home, the second is the hospital, and the orchestra is the third family. I sing with my husband, the little son also sings, but the eldest son also sang“She says with emotion.
Due to his involvement, Dr. Silvia Nica was invited to sing in the World Orchestra and the European Doctors Orchestra. Thus he had the opportunity to participate in international concerts, leading to music beyond the country's borders.
