The President of Brazil announces “strategic rapprochement” with China

President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva arrived on Saturday with a three-day visit to Beijing, whose goal is- as he said- “strategic approach” with China and expanding the Beijing dialogue with Latin America in the course of the China-Celac forum.

In the capital of China, Lula will meet with President XI Jinping and plans to sign at least sixteen contracts and agreements regarding, among others cooperation in the field of agriculture, trade, Chinese investments in Brazil, Przemysł, Energy, Mining, Science, Technology, Health and Culture.

Earlier, the Brazilian president was in Moscow, where he took part in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and met with President Vladimir Putin.

“I came to Beijing, where I intend to sign new agreements on cooperation in many fields. This will be another great step forward in friendship relations and strategic rapprochement with China,” wrote the President of Brazil in a short statement published by Brazilian social networks.

In the current, fourth, already in just over two years of the President of Brazil's President to the capital of China, it is foreseen by him on May 12 and 13, a total of sixteen negotiated agreements, while 32 other contracts are subject to talks.
