Gas supplies secured for 5 years. ZZE PAK provides gas for the block in Turek

An indirect subsidiary of ZE PAK, PAK CCGT, and Duon Dystrybucja, concluded an agreement ensuring the supply of gas fuel to the gas and steam unit (CCGT) located in Turek – ZE PAK said in a press release.

As reported, the contract was concluded for a period of five years. After this period, the agreement is automatically extended for another five-year period, unless either party submits a written declaration of termination of cooperation no later than twelve months before its termination.

The agreement does not provide for any minimum volumes of gas offtake on the part of PAK CCGT, nor does it provide for any “take or pay” clauses. Gas supplies will be made to a physical exit point from the transmission system managed by Gaz-System.

“Settlements between the parties under the contract will be based on the gas market indices of the Polish Power Exchange (TGE), i.e. the TGEgasID index (intraday gas market) and the TGEgasDA index (day-ahead gas market),” it was written.

It was indicated that the conclusion of this agreement is another important step as part of the company's strategic project, which is the planned launch of the above-mentioned CCGT unit in the third quarter of 2027. (PAP Business)
