Six leaders of the National Guard led by Pivnenko were removed. The media write what kind of embezzlement


The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that there was a court investigation. Law enforcement officers did not specify the details.



According to ZN.UA, the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has been conducting searches from the officials of the National Guard from May 9. Among them:

  • Commander of the National Guard Alexander Pivnenko;
  • Director of the Department of Logistics GU NSU Sergey Gritsenko;
  • Director of the Department of Logistics of the GU NSU Nikolay Modlinsky;
  • Deputy Director of the Department of Logistics – Head of the Department of Automobile and Armored equipment of the State Unitary Enterprise NSU Alexander Kalatinets;
  • Head of the Department for Commutics and Capital Construction Denis Ganaz;
  • Head of the central base of production and technological configuration of NSU Vladimir Fedorovsky.

The searches also took place in the office premises of the central base for providing the State Unitary Enterprise NSU, the article says.

The publication claims that the investigation is carried out under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: part 5 of Art. 191 (appropriation, embezzlement of property or seizure by it by abuse of official position), part 3 of article 209 (legalization /laundering of income received by criminal means), part 3 and part 4 of Art. 368 (adoption of a proposal, promise or receiving unlawful benefit by an official).

“According to the investigation, the commander of the National Guard, having conspired with other officials, could receive a bribe in the amount of 190 million UAH. Suspects could receive funds for promoting contracts and recognition by the winners of specific entrepreneurs when purchasing goods and services, the customer of which was the central base of the production and technological equipment of the National Guard. We are talking about obtaining the Toyota RAV-4 car 2023 and non -residential premises in more than 70 m² in Kyiv, ”writes Zn.ua.

In addition, the publication writes that the searches of Gritsenko, the Calatin, as well as the deputy commander of the NSU Alexander Belous, are held as part of another case open under Part 5 of Art. 191 (appropriation, embezzlement or seizure of other people's property by abuse of his official position) and part 2 of Art. 209 UKU (legalization /laundering) of income received by criminal means).

In this case, the investigation received information that these officials might have conspired with BP Exim World Defense LLC and was flushed from the GRN from the National Guard budget. In particular, according to the investigation, the defendants are suspected of procurement at high prices of caterpillar armored personnel carriers of the FV series.
